Omoggle vs Aznabee feature checklist
Omegal, Umigle, Omoggle?
Aznabee is live.

“Omegle” is one of the most misspelled names on the web. If you typed omegal, umigle, or omegale, you were almost certainly after random video chat with strangers - the open-a-page, get-matched, skip-anytime kind. Omoggle is different: it is a real, separate site, a 1v1 face-rating game, covered further down.
Here is the part worth knowing: the original Omegle shut down in November 2023 and has not come back. Typing any spelling of it will not reach a working site. Aznabee does the same thing - free random video chat, no account, skip whenever you like - and it is live right now. There is a fuller account of the shutdown in our Omegle explainer, and a side-by-side in the Omegle alternatives guide.
Omegal, omegle, omegale, umigle, omegel - however you got here, the Start Chat button above puts you in a live queue in one tap. No download, no email, no sign-up.
There is an actual reason, and it is not that people are careless. Omegle spread by word of mouth and video - YouTube reactions, streamers, clips passed around at school. Almost nobody read the name before they heard it. You cannot spell a word from sound alone when the word is invented, and this one is a coinage with no root to fall back on.
Then there is the pronunciation split. Some people say oh-MEG-luh, some say OH-meg-ul, some say oh-MEE-gul. Each of those produces a different guess at the spelling. Add a phone keyboard, autocorrect trying to bend it toward a real word, and the fact that most searches happen one-handed at speed, and you get a very wide spread of near misses.
Google usually works out what you meant. The trouble now is that the thing you meant has been switched off since 2023, so even a correctly spelled search does not get you anywhere useful.
Straight vowel swaps - the most common group by a distance. All of them mean the original site. All of them lead to a closed door.
What happens when the opening syllable is heard as “uh” rather than “oh”. Very common among people who only ever heard the name spoken aloud.
Autocorrect reaching for something familiar - usually “eagle” or a French-looking ending. Same destination.
Not a misspelling. Omoggle is a live 1v1 “mog battle” site launched in 2026: two strangers go on camera for a few seconds while an AI scores their faces, with an elo ladder. It went viral on Twitch and TikTok.
Not a misspelling. A separate, still-running platform that people frequently confuse with Omegle. If that was what you wanted, our OmeTV page covers it.
Different sites entirely, often reached by people searching for Omegle and clicking the nearest result. Both are still live.
Domains built on common typos of a famous name are an old business, and the ones in this category are rarely trying to run a chat service. Some are ad farms that redirect you three times before landing on something unrelated. Some ask for a card number to “verify your age” before a single match. A few will simply ask you to install something.
The tells are consistent: a queue that produces an improbably attractive match within two seconds, a video that never responds to anything you say, and a payment prompt arriving before any real conversation does. That is a recorded loop, not a person. Close the tab.
Aznabee asks for no card and no account. If you ever see a payment request before your first match here, something is wrong and we would want to know about it.
Omoggle is built around being rated. That is the point of it, and plenty of people enjoy it. Others come away wanting the opposite: a conversation with a stranger where nobody is grading your jawline, and where the clip of you losing is not the product. Streamed matches also mean your face can end up on someone else's broadcast.
Aznabee is plain 1:1 random video chat. There is no score, no ranking, and no leaderboard. Calls run up to 10 minutes, you can skip any time, and you can bring a friend with Duo Mode. Like Omoggle, it is for adults only (18+) - see our child safety standards.
No account required to enter the queue.
Nothing rates, ranks, or records how you look. You just talk.
Host creates a room, friend joins with a 6-character code, then the pair is matched with a stranger.
Optional Snap Camera Kit effects on desktop and in the Android app - never required to match.
On-device screening every 1.5 seconds blacks out flagged video, plus report and skip in every call.
Omegal, umigle, and omegale searches usually mean the classic stranger site that no longer exists. Aznabee is live.
If Omoggle's scoring got old, Aznabee is the same stranger video format with no scores and no ladder.
Solo matching is fine - Duo Mode is for nights when you do not want to meet strangers alone.
